1.Simple solar panel lightning protection measures
① Make a simple lightning protection device on the outside of the equipment to protect solar panel and electrical equipment from direct lightning strikes.
② Add lightning arrester to the power supply line between the equipment and the solar panel. The model is selected according to the working voltage of the DC load.
③ The down conductor of the lightning protection device and the grounding wire of the lightning arrester must be well grounded to achieve the purpose of rapid leakage.
2. Lightning protection measures for complex solar panel
① Install a first-level lightning arrester between the solar panel and the inverter, and select the model according to the large no-load voltage of the on-site inverter.
② Install a second-level lightning arrester between the inverter and the power distribution cabinet and between the power distribution cabinet and the load equipment. The model is selected according to the working voltage of the power distribution cabinet and power supply equipment;
③ All lightning arresters must be well grounded.
