Operations Of Oil Wastewater DAF Dissolved Air Flotation Equipment

System preparation:

1. Clean out the tank

2. Check if recirculation pump, air compressor and skimmer is normal or not

3. Start up the recirculation pump and check the rotation direction is normal. If reverse rotation, change the phase of two electricity wires.

4. Start up the air compressor in the manual mode and check if it is normal or not.

5. Start up the skimmer, it should move into the influent direction. When in the automatic mode, the skimming time should be set.

6. Prepare the chemicals. PAC concentration is about5-10% and PAM concentration is about 0.1%.

7. Close empty valve and open the recirculation water inlet valve, recirculation water outlet valve, air water outlet valve.

Commissioning of Oil Wastewater DAF Dissolved Air Flotation Equipment

1. Adding water: Clean water should added into the DAF tank fully. Normal water level should be under the top 200-220mm. Water level should be adjusted by level control unit;
2. Switch the manual mode for air dissolving system, and open the air compressor start up key until stop automatically;
3. Switch the auto mode for air dissolving system;
4. In the normal operation condition, the pressure of pressure guage1 is 0.36—0.46MPa,and pressure of pressure guage2 is 0.4—0. 52MPa;
5. There are three operation modes: manual, stop and auto for skimming system. In the auto mode condition, the skimmer operation is controlled by the time relay of control panel. The skimmer operation and stop time could be set by time relay;
6. Water level of DAF tank adjustment: Water level should be under 1-2cm for scum outlet. Clockwise rotation means water level rise, and counter clockwise rotation means water level ascend.
