Since the vibration in the machine is transmitted through air as the medium, its frequency component is the same as the basic component of vibration. Therefore, if the frequency of the noise is analyzed and monitored, abnormalities can be detected early. When the water turbine fails, the sound amplitude does not always change significantly, and in many cases, although the sound pressure level is not high, the tone changes within the frequency range. However, as far as the current example of noise monitoring is concerned, due to the randomness of white noise and dominant frequencies, it is still difficult to do some useful monitoring at present.
